Everything you need to know about Disney Villains Aunt Sarah

Aunt Sarah is a villain from the 1951 Disney film “Lady and the Tramp”. She is a wealthy woman who takes in Lady, a stray Cocker Spaniel, and her two Siamese cats, Si and Am. Aunt Sarah is portrayed as a cold, selfish and vain woman who is more concerned with her appearance and social status than the well-being of her pets.

Aunt Sarah is characterized as a middle-aged woman with a fancy, sophisticated appearance. She is often seen wearing a fancy dress, and is always wearing her pearls, she has a blond hair, styled in a bun and has a thin nose. She is also a great singer and loves to sing in front of her guests.

Aunt Sarah’s main goal is to make sure that her pets are well-behaved and that they don’t create any messes or make any noise. To achieve this goal, she employs the Siamese cats to keep an eye on Lady, who is always getting into trouble. She also employs the use of a muzzle on Lady, which causes her to be isolated and miserable.

Throughout the film, Aunt Sarah’s actions lead to Lady being mistreated and unhappy. Despite her attempts to control and discipline Lady, the Cocker Spaniel ultimately escapes from her home and finds happiness with Tramp, a stray dog.

Aunt Sarah’s character is seen as a negative portrayal of a pet owner, as she is depicted as a selfish, vain and uncaring person who only wants her pets to be well-behaved and quiet, but not to be happy or to be treated well. Her character serves as a warning to pet owners about the importance of treating their pets with kindness and compassion.

In the end, Aunt Sarah is not punished for her actions and does not learn any lesson, but Lady and Tramp find happiness together, which serves as a reminder that even in the worst of situations, there’s always a way out and a chance for happiness.

Aunt Sarah Costume

A costume of Aunt Sarah from the 1951 Disney film “Lady and the Tramp” would typically consist of a few key elements to create the look of the character.

  1. The costume would likely include a fancy, sophisticated dress. The dress could be a long, flowing, A-line style in a light color, such as light blue, pink or yellow.
  2. To create the character’s hairstyle, you could style your hair in a bun, and add a blonde wig if needed.
  3. A pair of pearl earrings or a pearl necklace would be an essential accessory, as Aunt Sarah is always seen wearing pearls.
  4. You could also add a pair of white gloves to complete the sophisticated look of the character.
  5. A microphone or a prop of a sheet of music could also be added as accessory if you’re going to a costume party or event where you’ll have to sing, as Aunt Sarah loves to sing in front of her guests.
